MEET THE ADVISORY BOARD
Adam Reifsteck is a New York-based composer, producer, and owner of Teknofonic Recordings. With over 350 releases on the label, many of which have charted in the Beatport Top 100, he has helped hundreds of electronic music producers launch and grow their careers. As an artist, Reifsteck has written award-winning compositions for small ensembles and produces electronic music under the studio alias Sonic Fear. The Huffington Post has described his music as “a testament to the timelessness of classical music, keeping it alive within the millennial generation.” He holds a master’s degree in music composition and a bachelor’s in music technology. He is a member of Broadcast Music Inc., Recording Academy, Society of Composers & Lyricists, and serves on the board of Musicians for Musicians.
With a decade and a half of audio production experience that straddles the divide between music and audio-post, Cameron Bashaw has worked with national brands such as PBS, Creative Labs SoundBlaster, and beyond. His versatile skillsets have allowed him to lean in on unique insights of the bigger picture, and the intricately connected web that music, media, and marketing industries all share. As a producer, Cameron has collaborated with local artists and received commissions for special projects of all kinds by legends such as guitarist Joe Satriani and more. He is an active mastering engineer and owner of Neologic Studios.
Flaviya Kaklyugina, also known as Flaviyake / Duck The Bass, is a Pop and EDM producer, songwriter, DJ, classically-trained musician, and Grammy NEXT alumna with releases on prominent dance music labels such as Blanco y Negro, United Music Hits, Acapulco Music, and SoundEvolution. After winning a song contest on BBC6 Music Radio in the UK in 2014, Flaviya joined a record label in Moscow as a bilingual staff songwriter in Pop and Hip-Hop genres. In 2016, she relocated to Los Angeles where she now writes and produces songs for both emerging and chart-topping artists in addition to running her label Echoes of the Future. Certified in Avid Dolby Atmos, Flaviya was recently a featured producer in the Masters of the Craft series by Barefoot Sound.
Ric Dominy has been a sound designer, producer, and DJ for over 20 years under the alias Ric Dolore in the Drum & Bass, Dubstep, Downtempo, and Industrial genres. A headliner at major clubs throughout the Southeastern United States, Ric has had releases on several prominent dance labels. With his latest project ScrapKode, he released his first full-length album in 2021. Winner of 3 Sony sponsored remix contests, he is also known for his critically acclaimed score for the indie Sci-Fi thriller “Parapsychology 101”. His live Novation Launchpad remix of TRIAGE – Brawl from Hollow Point Recordings landed number 1 on DrumNBass.net charts (now a part of EDM.com).
Ed Hartman has been teaching classes in music licensing for over a decade. His music has been heard in motion pictures such as The Blind Side and Scooby Doo, The Mystery Begins (Warner Bros.) and has been used in numerous TV shows, including The Twilight Zone (CBS All-Access), Revenge (ABC), Brooklyn Nine-Nine (FOX), Passions (NBC), Let’s Make a Deal (CBS), and Toddlers and Tiaras (TLC), to name a few. Ed also owns 8th Sense Productions, LLC that manages the film-estate of Richard Lyford. He produced “As the Earth Turns,” a previously unreleased silent sci-fi film by Lyford made in Seattle in 1938, which has been featured in 122 festivals and received 135 awards/nominations. Ed is currently working on a documentary and biopic about the filmmaker.
